Hosted by the Academy of Hockey, this clinic focuses on skill development, game strategy, and building confidence on the ice. Led by experienced coaches, players will participate in drills to enhance skating, stickhandling, shooting, and positional play.
The clinic is tailored to meet each age group's skill level, ensuring every athlete receives personalized feedback and guidance. Our goal is to foster a positive and supportive environment where young players can challenge themselves and gain a deeper love for the game.
Skills Covered:
- Skating Fundamentals: Improve speed, edge control, agility, and balance through dynamic skating drills.
- Stickhandling & Puck Control: Develop soft hands, quick puck movements, and creative handling techniques to navigate through opponents with confidence.
- Shooting & Scoring Techniques: Enhance your wrist shots, slap shots, and backhand accuracy. Emphasis on quick releases, shooting in stride, and creating scoring opportunities.
- Passing & Receiving: Master crisp, accurate passes, both forehand and backhand, and improve your ability to receive passes in motion.
