2026-27 Mite League Information & League Rules

  • 3 - 12 minute Stop Time Periods
  • AAU Sanctioned League
  • All players and coaches must be AAU Registered to compete
  • Automatic Offsides
  • 1:30 Penalties (90 Seconds)
  • Cannot Ice on Penalty Kill
  • Mercy Rule: 6 Goal Differential in 3rd Period
  • 1 Timeout Per Team Per Game
  • Overtime: 5 Minute 3v3
  • If no team scores in OT, the game will end in a tie (No Shootout)
  • League begins September 27th and will run until Late February
  • Team can request up to 5 blackout weekends
  • Everyone Makes Playoffs: Format will be determined based on number of teams and team skill levels
  • Points:
    • Regulation Win: 3 Points
    • OT Win: 2 Points
    • Tie: 1 Point
    • OT Loss: 1 Point
    • Regulation Loss: 0 Points
